The CC2640F128RHBR is a wireless MCU that is specifically designed for Bluetooth applications. It's part of the CC26xx family of cost-effective, ultralow power, 2.4-GHz RF devices. With its very low active RF and MCU current, as well as low-power mode current consumption, the CC2640 device offers exceptional battery lifetime and is able to operate on small coin cell batteries and in energy-harvesting applications. Its 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor runs at 48 MHz and is complemented by a rich peripheral feature set, including a unique ultralow power sensor controller. This sensor controller is perfect for interfacing external sensors and collecting analog and digital data autonomously while the rest of the system is in sleep mode. This makes the CC2640 device well-suited for a wide range of applications where long battery lifetime, small form factor, and ease of use are important
