Unlike other temperature sensors calibrated in Kelvin, the LM35 device eliminates the need for users to adjust for constant voltage offsets, simplifying temperature readings in Centigrade. With typical accuracies of ±¼°C at room temperature and ±¾°C over a temperature range of −55°C to 150°C, the LM35 device provides reliable and precise temperature measurements without the requirement for external calibration. Its low power consumption of 60 µA ensures minimal self-heating effects, preserving temperature accuracy in various operating conditions. The LM35 device's linear output, low output impedance, and inherent calibration features make it easy to interface with readout or control circuitry, catering to diverse temperature sensing applications.
