MMA8452QR1

The MMA8452QR1 is a three-axis accelerometer sensor manufactured by NXP Semiconductors. It is a low-power, high-performance accelerometer with a digital output and embedded intelligence that offers up to ±2g/±4g/±8g dynamically selectable full-scale ranges. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 1.95V to 3.6V and features a 2g/4g/8g selectable full-scale range with high resolution measurement and embedded FIFO (first in, first out) memory.The MMA8452QR1 integrates multiple motion detection functions including portrait/landscape detection, tap detection, and shake detection, making it ideal for motion-based applications such as mobile devices, gaming controllers, fitness trackers, and wearable devices. It also features a high-pass filter to remove gravity effects and a low-pass filter to remove high-frequency noise.The sensor communicates with the host microcontroller via an I2C or SPI interface and is housed in a 3mm x 3mm x 1.0mm QFN package. The MMA8452QR1 is designed for low-power operation, with an embedded low-power mode for optimized power consumption.
